DAY 1

28.8.2015 (FRIDAY)

After breakfast in your hotel and check-out (at about 8:30), this trip will head south, and after cca 2,5 hours it will reach its highlight – the unique and beautiful Chateau of Hluboka nad Vltavou. A guided tour will show you the beauty of one of the Schwarzenbergs‘ properties. With Hluboka behind, the tour will continue to České Budějovice (Budweis) – first, you stop in Budvar, one of the famous czech breweries, have lunch in the brewery’s pub and then learn more about the brewing history in South Bohemia (beer tasting!!!). In the afternoon, you make a short city tour in České Budějovice, and continue towards Lipno nad Vltavou (approximately 1 hour), where you check in in our hotel and have the evening for yourselves.

DAY 2

29.8.2015 (SATURDAY)

In the morning you will experience a beautiful visit to a fairytale town of Český Krumlov. After a guided city walk, a lunch will be prepared for you in one of the famous local restaurants. With basic needs being taken care of, you will return to the Lipno area and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing, or actively spending your free time – biking, hiking, in-line skating, etc. A newly opened „Trail through the Treetops“ in Lipno n.V. might be a fantastic way to finish your day with a sundowner high above the trees (weather permitting).

DAY 3

30.8.2015 (SUNDAY)

The morning program takes you to the small nearby town of Vyšší Brod, with an excursion through the renowned monastery; after that, the tour will continue to the town of Rožmberk (Rosenberg). Here you will discover the beauty of the local medieval castle, located on a ridge high above the Vltava river. Upon returning back to the Lipno area and your hotel, you may spend the rest of the day at your discretion. A closing diner will be organized in the hotel.

DAY 4

31.8.2015 (MONDAY)

Breakfast, check-out and transfer back to Prague (approximately 3-4 hours). Return to Prague at cca 1 PM.
